Wellbeing

Wellbeing information about our school.

The wellbeing of pupils and staff is a priority in our school. We have a Wellbeing Champion, Mrs French, as well as a school counsellor, Mrs Richardson who visits school regularly. Staff are trained in delivering many  interventions including  Relax Kids, The Incredible Five Point Scale, Think Good Feel Good  and Rainbow’s Bereavement Training. The school encourages pupils to talk about their concerns and anxieties and understand that our mental health and wellbeing is important and should be nurtured.

We encourage children to explore mindfulness activities at school and at home and recognise when they need to seek support. Parents who would like further help and support around their child’s mental health can speak to school staff in the first instance or access support and advice on the following link.
