I would like to welcome you to our school website. St Pius X Catholic School is in the Hexham and Newcastle Diocese and became part of the Bishop Wilkinson Catholic Education Trust on 1st November 2022.

We are very proud of our school and recognise the uniqueness of all of our pupils.  Our caring and committed staff encourage pupils to behave outstandingly well and provide excellent spiritual, moral, social and cultural guidance for all pupils, through our strong catholic ethos and clear mission statement. Pupils make good progress, throughout their time with us, and their gifts and achievements are celebrated. We aspire for each child to meet their full potential ,through a vibrant and enriched curriculum which challenges and excites. All members of our school family are valued and nurtured within an environment that is truly inclusive.
